Disability Index FTSE 100 2026 Report
Nothing to declare
The ActionAble Disability Index FTSE 100 2026 provides a new annual benchmark of disability reporting across the UK’s 100 largest publicly listed companies.
Published by ActionAble, in partnership with the DFN Charitable Foundation and The Valuable 500, and developed with ImpactMatch, the Index examines how FTSE 100 companies are currently reporting disability representation and declaration data, and how prepared businesses are for the introduction of Disability Pay Gap Reporting.
The Index is not about where reporting falls short. It highlights examples of organisations already making progress and sets out practical actions for Boards, business leaders, investors and government to strengthen disability reporting, build trust and turn better data into meaningful action.
Why this report matters
Disability inclusion is increasingly becoming a business and governance priority.
As organisations prepare for Disability Pay Gap Reporting, there is a growing need for clearer, more consistent disability data – but reporting alone is only part of the picture.
The ActionAble Disability Index looks at how FTSE 100 organisations are approaching disability reporting today, while exploring the culture, leadership and trust needed to create workplaces where disabled colleagues feel safe to share and supported to thrive.
The report brings together data, case studies and practical recommendations to help businesses move from intention to greater transparency, stronger inclusion and measurable progress.

Launch webinar: The ActionAble Index 2026: From Insight to Action
On 8 October, ActionAble will publish the inaugural ActionAble Index 2026, authored by Sara Weller CBE, bringing together new evidence on disability reporting across the UK’s largest listed businesses.
The Index explores how prepared organisations are for mandatory Disability Pay Gap Reporting and offers a timely picture of where progress is being made, where challenges remain and what business leaders can learn from the organisations leading the way.
Join Sara and senior leaders from business and the disability sector for the first public discussion of the findings, as they explore what the Index reveals and what practical action organisations can take next.
The conversation will also look beyond the findings themselves, examining how ActionAble can work with business leaders, partners, policymakers and the disability community to turn the evidence into practical change across sectors.
Attendees will gain:
- An early look at the headline findings from the newly published ActionAble Index 2026.
- A clearer view of the current state of disability reporting across the FTSE 100.
- An understanding of the difference between representation, declaration and response rates.
- Insight into approaches being taken by organisations featured in the Index.
