Impact Event
We say that our programmes transform lives… but how do we really know?
Last year, Better Connect launched our Impact Report which showed the enormous difference our programmes have had across Yorkshire over the last few years. This year, our impact has grown with the launch of our Rise2Thrive and SHINE programmes supporting people across North Yorkshire, York, and East Riding to thrive in their lives.
To celebrate this, we’re hosting an event which will explore the impact our programmes and partnerships make across Yorkshire.
Throughout the day, we’ll learn about the power of partnerships, the importance of storytelling, and celebrate the lives touched by our programmes.
So, what’s on the agenda?
- The impact of Better Connect and our Partnerships
- A few words from David Skaith
- Vickys Story – Life in Colour
- Kev Curran on capturing lived experience stories
- Stories from Participants and Keyworkers
- Luke Scott on The Ripple Effect
- The power of partnerships
- The importance of continuing these programmes
Let’s celebrate together with Better Programmes, Better Partnerships, Better Lives, and us – Better Connect.
Please arrive from 9.30, this event will start promptly at 10am.
Please note: There are limited spaces available so please only book three tickets maximum per organisation. Where possible, we would love at least one of these tickets to be for a participant who has been positively impacted by one of our programmes!
