About the role
We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Impact Intern Associate to join the ImpactMatch team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup, supporting real-world projects that drive social impact across the UK.
The role is ideal for a graduate who’s just as confident creating engaging visuals as they are digging into data and shaping insightful impact reports. You’ll work across a range of projects: from supporting marketing and events to helping us capture, analyse, and communicate the impact of our work and that of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal & Document Design: Support the leadership team by transforming ideas, notes, and guidance into well-designed, compelling proposal documents and decks. Experience with layout, formatting, and visual storytelling is a big plus.
- Content Creation: Create visually engaging materials in Canva, including social media graphics, videos, event assets, and marketing collateral.
- Research and Analysis: Support impact measurement by analysing engagement data, conducting research, and contributing to reports that highlight key trends and outcomes.
- Marketing and Communications: Support the delivery and design of content across communication channels, contributing to social media, newsletters, blogs, and website updates.
- Project Support: Collaborate across teams on purpose-led projects, gaining valuable insight into how a growing social impact startup operates.

We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and impact-driven graduate who can work independently while contributing meaningfully across teams. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re able to quickly turn guidance into high-quality work, stay organised across multiple priorities, and bring both design flair and analytical thinking to the table.
You should be a graduate-level thinker with strong research skills, confident referencing academic frameworks and turning complex insight into clear, engaging content. This role is perfect for someone who’s as comfortable writing and researching as they are designing visuals or planning social media content.
- A strong researcher, confident gathering insight, referencing sources accurately, and applying academic frameworks where needed.
- A creative thinker with strong design skills. Canva experience is essential, and any background in graphic design and video editing is a big bonus.
- Comfortable turning notes and ideas into polished documents, proposals, and visual content.
- Analytical, with the ability to interpret data and contribute to impact reports and strategic insights.
- A clear, adaptable communicator, both written and verbal, able to tailor your tone across different platforms and audiences.
- Passionate about social impact and excited to work with purpose-led organisations and projects.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter, confident working independently in a remote team without needing to be closely managed.
- Experienced with social media, from content creation to engagement strategy, across LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Confidence with short-form video (e.g., reels, edits, interviews) is a definite plus.
